Capabilities

Welding and fabrication in-house. Everything else, managed.

RWS welds, brazes, fabricates, builds tooling, and assembles in our Burlington facility. Machining, cutting, forming, and finishing are supplied through an established partner network — with RWS accountable for the whole job.

In-House at RWS

What happens in our facility.

Robotic MIG Welding

Our core process. A FANUC ArcMate 120iC in an enclosed dual-station cell, paired with a Fronius TPS 400i power source running CMT and PMC processes. We weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum within an approximate 48 × 30-inch working envelope. We do not offer robotic TIG welding.

Laser Welding

RWS operates an in-house laser welding machine for suitable components, thin materials, continuous seams, and prototype or production applications. Every application is reviewed for material, joint design, fit-up, and process suitability.

Stainless-Steel Welding

RWS performs stainless-steel welding in-house for fabricated components, welded assemblies, and recurring production programs.

Brazing

RWS performs brazing in-house for repeat components and assemblies. Each project is reviewed according to material, joint design, fit-up, and production requirements.

Fabrication & Manual MIG

Custom fabrication and manual MIG welding for one-offs, short runs, and parts that don't fit the robotic cell — plus manual finishing to prepare parts for coating or delivery.

Tooling & Fixtures

Production tooling and weld fixtures designed and built in-house. Good fixturing is what makes robotic welding repeatable — we design it as part of the job, not as an afterthought.

Assemblies & Prototypes

Welded assemblies, mechanical assembly, and prototype builds — from first-article parts through pilot runs and into ongoing production.

Engineering Support

Drawing review, design for manufacturability (DFM), CAD support, reverse engineering, tooling design, weld-fixture design, production planning, and manufacturing-route planning. RWS provides in-house engineering and manufacturing support — not professional engineering stamps or regulated engineering certification unless specifically arranged and stated for a project.

End-to-End Project Management

A single accountable contact managing schedules, suppliers, tooling, welding, and delivery of completed parts. You send one drawing package; RWS owns the rest.

RWS-Managed Manufacturing

One drawing package. One accountable contact.

These processes are supplied through established manufacturing partners rather than performed at the RWS facility. RWS coordinates the suppliers, schedules, requirements, and delivery as part of the complete project.

CNC Machining

RWS supplies CNC-machined components through established machining partners — quoted, coordinated, and managed as part of your project.

Laser Cutting

Laser-cut blanks and profiles supplied through the partner network and managed by RWS.

Forming

Formed components sourced through established partners, coordinated with your welding and assembly schedule.

Tube Bending

Tube bending managed by RWS through the partner network for frames, rails, and tubular assemblies.

Powder Coating

Powder coating arranged through finishing partners and managed to your specification.

Additional Finishing

Additional finishing processes coordinated by RWS so parts arrive complete — not halfway done.

Send Us Your Drawings

One drawing package. One accountable partner.

Send your drawings and requirements — RWS plans the manufacturing route, welds and fabricates in-house, coordinates the rest, and delivers finished parts.
